The Keller Center received a 2019 Vision Award from ULI-Chicago

It is evident that Facilities Services’ Vision 2020 strategic themes Impact and Engage Community and Embody Sustainability are shaping our work. On behalf of the University of Chicago, Alicia Berg, assistant vice president for campus planning + sustainability joined representatives from Farr Associates to accept the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Chicago 2019 Vision Award for excellence in environmentally sensitive design and community engagement for The Keller Center. The award was presented at the ULI Chicago annual awards ceremony held on July 10.

The mission of ULI, the oldest and largest network of real estate and land use experts in the world, is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide.  Through its various award programs, ULI has been able to set standards of excellence in development practice from planning through construction and management. Since 2011, projects and programs in Chicago that highlight creative development practices or visionary ideas have been selected for Vision Awards.
