The Operations unit consists of Building Services, Campus Properties, Campus and Residential Services, Operations and Maintenance, Engineering and Utilities, Maintenance Program Services and Residential Properties. The Operations unit works to ensure safe, attractive and well-functioning facilities for the campus and its visitors. Included in our portfolio is the Yerkes Observatory, located in Williams Bay, WI.
The Campus and Residential Services sub-unit provides campus, landscape, trades and residential property management services.
Operations and Maintenance consists of three Building Engineering shops throughout the campus with responsibility for building systems.
Engineering and Utilities oversees utility services (steam, chilled water, electricity, natural gas, water and waste water) to all buildings served via on-site production (steam and chilled water) and vendor management.
