The University of Chicago campus has seen nine consecutive days of “measurable amounts” of snow, which the National Weather Service defines as 0.1 inches or more. Despite the more than 14 inches of snow accumulation, Facilities Services staff mobilized each day to clean campus ramps, entrance ways, and sidewalks so that our colleagues could get to classrooms, residence halls, and offices.
