On behalf of the University of Chicago, Kerry Galbraith, executive director of capital project delivery accepted the 2018 Pride in Construction Award for Campus North Residential Commons. The award was presented at the Construction Industry Service Corporation (CISCO) annual meeting held on February 7 in Chicago.
Since 2005, CISCO has selected construction projects which demonstrate excellence in union construction in Northeastern IL. CISCO is a labor-management group with nearly 150,000 members comprised of union construction workers and contractors.
Campus North Residential Commons was the award recipient of the Residential Construction – Chicago/Suburbs category. There were six additional construction categories - all recipients were chosen for their quality in construction, design, safety record and impact on the community.
