The approval group provides authorization for project funding and for key project decisions such as siting and Architect Selection. Depending on the size of the project, this group may be comprised of some combination of the Board of Trustees, President, Provost, CFO, Capital Projects Committee, and FS Associate Vice President(s). On large projects ( > $3 Million), the group also includes a Steering Committee. The membership of the Steering Committee includes, at minimum, representatives from the President’s and Provost’s office, the Associate Vice President of Facilities Services, Executive Director of Capital Project Delivery, and the CPD project manager.
