Space Information Management Services (SIMS) maintains and disseminates information on University physical assets including maps, site and floor plans, historical archives, information on the assignment, use, and characteristics of space in campus buildings, and data developed for reports and presentations. This information is used to manage facilities and facilities related services, plan for renovations and new construction. The number of systems and situations where space information is used make it crucial that data be managed centrally, and in a consistent, timely fashion.
