The restart date for continued work at Botany Pond is now confirmed for Monday, Aug. 28.
The scope of work through early September includes demolition and concrete removal from the base of the pond. There will be Contractors entering and exiting through Cobb Gate as the concrete is removed from the pond. Following the concrete removal, additional work activity will occur at the site through the remainder of the fall. The campus community and visitors to campus can expect to see partial fence removal this winter with limited walkways open around the pond. Landscape restoration and planting will occur in Spring 2024.
