Construction activity will start the week of May 6, to modernize and repair the elevator in the 950 E. 61st Street. The project work is scheduled to complete and the elevator will be operational by the end of June 2024. Working hours for this project are 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The building occupants and visitors can expect the following:
- Access between floors using the stairs will be maintained.
- Vehicles will be on-site, at times, during construction working hours.
- Signage will be in place on each floor during elevator repairs.
- Basement restrooms will remain open but not accessible by elevator.
