Renee Granville-Grossman Residential Commons

Overview

The Renee Granville-Grossman Residential Commons is an 811 bed, 331,193 gross square foot, dormitory building with a separate 541 seat, 22,632 gross square foot dining complex attached to the existing Burton-Judson Residence Hall. Taken together, these residence halls provide more than 1100 beds for undergraduate students. Students are housed in 8 residential houses, each with their own lounges and common facilities. Housing includes a mix of singles, doubles, and 4-person apartment suites as well as small suites for Resident Assistants and two apartments for faculty Resident Masters and their families.

Project amenities include basement laundry, storage and bike facilities, two internal courtyards, a café and retail store open to the community, and a new loading dock with truck access on the south side of the complex. A tunnel system connects the loading dock to the Residence Halls, Dining Facility, and adjacent Law School.
