ALTERNATIVES TO DRIVING

Facilities Services offers ways to save gas and parking fees, particularly to those who cannot use public transportation to get to and from campus. These programs involve sharing a ride with others and providing transportation home in an emergency.

•	About the Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) Program
•	Guaranteed Ride Home Registration Form
	Occasional Parker Program Registration Form — use to obtain a parking permit for up to 24 times per academic year.
	Carpool Application Form — use to get a preferred carpool parking space and/or lower permit fees; each member of the carpool must fill out this form.
•	Car Sharing Program Application Form — use to get one of a limited number of free registrations to either I-Go or ZipCar.
•	Ride Share Registration Form — use to find a carpool partner.
•	Drive Less / Live More — RTA site with tips, maps, and links for traveling by public transportation, including calculators for estimating commuting costs.
