| Construction Start Date: |
June 15, 2009 |
| Completion Date: | September 15, 2009 |
| Degree of Disruption: |
The work will be disruptive to usual campus activities. Essentially, the Main Quadrangle will be closed to normal activity during the summer. Many of the well-travelled paths across campus will be closed. In addition, many of the usual building entrances will be closed forcing users to use alternate routes. Trucks will access the quadrangle via Ellis Avenue and 58th Street. The work will be minimally disruptive to usual activities in Rockefeller Chapel. The project will cause some degree of noise near the President's House. Contractor will provide staging area in east edge of Lexington parking area. |
